Guided Nature Tour

Join our resident ecologists for a guided tour of the habitats within the Wetlands reserve.  You will explore our marshes, ponds and gardens and discover what makes them unique. 
 
Along the trail you will encounter familiar animals and plants, many of which can be found in your parks and home gardens but hopefully come away from the experience with a new appreciation for them after learning about their lifecycle and the role they play in the ecosystem. 
 
This Nature Tour will also help you show you some easy ways of making your own gardens more biodiverse and an introduction to the Tralee Bay Special Area of Conservation.

  Please make sure you maintain social distancing at all times

• A passionate and enthusiastic guide
• Spotter Sheets to help identify the species of insects, plants ad bird you can meet in the wetlands

• The trail is not strenuous but some sections of the terrain are uneven and wet. Adequate footwear is recommended.
• Some areas of the tour are in the proximity of deep water and caution is advised.
• It is also important to realise that what species you encounter on this tour are effected by the weather and season
• It is recommended to bring rain gear and sun protection, this close to the Atlantic on the West coast of Ireland you could need both on the same tour.
