Our Wetlands contain two Big Ponds, one of which has matured beautifully. We have seen some great signs of its positive development with Emperor Dragonfly and Brown Hawkers flying around during Summer.
Our Second Pond needs a little help in reaching a mature state. To do this we are planting Iris, Bulrush, Mint and Brooklime into the Second Pond. These plants will remove nutrients and stop algal blooms and kick start the development of life as aquatic insects will begin moving in as the plants spread.
