These Bird Hides are a lovely way to bird watch our many species of waterfowl and passerine birds. Some species, such as the Moorhen are very shy in the presence of humans, but with a little bit of patience and with the cover of the bird hide, you will hopefully be able to see them foraging for some food along the surface of the water. With Tralee also being designated a Special Protection Area (SPA), this gives an extra level of protection for the birds within this area.
