Mary and all the Team at the Tralee Bay Wetlands would like to offer our special thanks to Mayor Terry O’Brien and all those involved in organising this great virtual event. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the real parade next year. We feel very privileged to receive this award at the Wetlands and would like to congratulate all our fellow Award Winners and all participants in the St. Patrick’s Day Virtual Parade.
We miss you and we hope that you all are keeping safe and following the Government and HSE Guidelines.
We are delighted to say that you can continue to walk around the lake in the Lakeside Walkway, remember to follow the arrows and enjoy this glorious space! Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park is closed to the public but we are continuing to work hard and safe behind the scenes, maintaining and creating new programmes for you all for when we open again. We are delighted that the Lakeside Café at The Wetlands is offering Takeaway.
We are linking our Spotter Sheet on the plants that live all around us, we hope you all enjoy looking for these at home or on your next outing to us! You could also start a Flower Pressing Book with your family and friends.
See how many species you can spot? Send us a message and let us know how many you have seen? We would be delighted to hear from you all during these times! From all at the Wetlands Team, we are so looking forward to welcoming you back to the Tralee Bay Wetlands and Lakeside Café again. Let us all work together in stopping to spread of Covid-19.
Stay safe, wear your mask, wash your hands and remember to keep up the 2 m Social Distance Rule and we will all meet again soon.
Take Care and we will keep in touch with updates on what all the different species that live here with us are doing!
