Beautiful place, very peaceful, beautiful swans and their babies were out on the path, people were out in the boats, everybody there was very respectful of the area and to top it off we had a waffle from the cafe which was yummy!

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my 5th Year Economics group to take part in a presentation and tour of the wetlands under the Sustainability and Economical section of the course. I have been on many trips with students over the years to various locations, I can honestly say the delivery and time that went into preparing this for my group was excellent. It was engaging, informative and thought provoking as well as extremely enjoyable.

My compliments to Alan and his colleague who arranged and prepared for our trip. On a personal note, I also want to thank them for looking after the teacher😃 who discovered that maybe heights are not really my thing.

    Thank you again

Really interesting and well-organised investment has created a super environment for a wetland experience. The lay out of the space, the hides, the reeds, and the other facilities are really impressive. Ducks and swans in residence and a wonderful array of other birds (herons, curlews, egrets) in the vicinity.

We had a lovely morning in Tralee Wetlands with our 4 and 6 year old boys. We joined in a group who were tree planting. Our boys had a wonderful time planting holly trees and strawberry plants.

Went on a guided walk with Thomas. He and the place fantastic. Learned new things in a friendly, conversational way. Felt energised and recharged in mind and body afterwards. A brilliant experience. Highly recommended.
