The first full moon of the month is this coming Saturday 3rd March and this moon is known as the ‘Moon of Winds’ or the ‘Windy Moon

This guided event will commence at 6.30pm at the Visitor centre of Tralee Bay Wetlands. Event is approx 1hour in duration.

During this unique dusk tour of the wetlands discover the secret world of nocturnal animals, enjoy a boat tour under the full moon of winds, and get close to the nocturnal denizens of the wetland.

As normal, the Wetlands Dusk tour will provide a chance to get a first- hand look at nocturnal animals, including bats, hedgehogs, voles and more! Enjoy a leisurely boat ride though the reedbeds as the sun goes down and view dusk & night skies from the 20metre viewing tower.

The second full moon of March will occur on Saturday 31st. This will be the second Blue Moon in 2018 which is quite rare, and more so to occur twice in one year!
This event will commence at 7:30 pm..Dont miss this rarely seen event.
