Month of May Bee Survey – We need your help!
Public Bee Survey – 28th May 2022. The All-Ireland Bee Monitoring Scheme, established by the National Biodiversity Data Centre in 2012, is one of the first of it’s kind globally. It tracks Ireland’s widespread bee species and generates a multi-species population index as a measure of the health of Ireland’s bee populations. It provides vital baseline data that will be used to assess the impact of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.
Join us and Discover bees at Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park. Did you know we have 21 species of Bumble, 77 species of solitary bees and 1 Honey Bee?
