Kerry Wild Bee Festival 2024

The Kerry Wild Bee Festival 2024 will be held on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July at Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park

This Kerry Wild Bee Festival 2024 is being organised by Transition Kerry in collaboration with Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park. We would like to acknowledge the support of Kerry County Council Community Support Fund, Eleanor Turner Biodiversity Officer, Kerry County Council, Kerry Branch Irish Wildlife Trust, Tralee Tidy Towns, Ballyduff Tidy Towns, Fenit Changing Tides, Gortbrack Organic Farm, Transition Kerry From The Ground Up Network, Biodiversity Ireland and the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park, the 2024 festival will feature a series of walks and talks led by biodiversity experts and community groups on these important insects and the simple actions we can take to help them.

Transition Kerry is a local organisation that seeks to inspire, educate, inform and foster collaboration from the ground up. Together we explore and act on restorative and regenerative responses to ensure that people and nature are protected, so that communities can flourish and be vibrant healthy places to live in.

A weekend of talks, walks and workshops about Ireland’s wild pollinators and how to help them in our communities.
