Ballyseedy Woods Walk Ballyseedy is an ancient woodland meaning it has been continuously covered with trees since the mid-1600. Along with this it is a Wet Woodland which is an annex habitat meaning that there is precious few of these ecosystems still left in Ireland. Explore these ancient habitats with your ecologists from the Wetlands. We have provided a map below with a link here to where this walk will begin from. We ask that you meet with a member of the Wetlands Team at the Killarney Entrance of Ballyseedy Woods at start of this walk to sign in for the event. On arrival we ask that you sign in with the Wetlands Team. 📅 Sunday, 8th February 2025 These walks are suitable for all ages, offering a family-friendly way to connect with nature and understand its vital role in our planet’s health.
