A Mid-Term Creative Experience at Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park

Step into the beauty of the wetlands this February Mid Term and enjoy a hands-on, nature-inspired workshop perfect for all the family. Our Wild Willow - Natural Ornament Making invites children and adults to craft their very own seasonal wreath using sustainably harvested willow grown right here onsite.

Surrounded by the calm and colour of the wetlands, you’ll learn simple weaving techniques, decorate your wreath with natural materials such as plants and flowers harvested at the Wetlands. Discover the traditions rooted in this ancient craft. It’s a wonderful way to connect with nature, get creative, and bring home something truly unique. Take home your own handmade wreath to enjoy and decorate according to the seasons.
