Green Flag Award Achieved
This year we have achieved our first Green Flag Award and are 1 of only 3 parklands in Kerry, and 1 of 103 in Ireland, to get the award. The entire grounds team have been working all year in preparation for the judges who arrived in August to see new flower beds, wildflower meadows and a new management plan for the park.

Tralee Bay Wetlands will be closed tomorrow Tuesday 7th December 2021 to ensure the safety of public and staff following a STATUS RED Weather Warning issued by Met Éireann. There will be no access to center or site.
It is anticipated that the public amenity area will re-open on (December 8th 2021) but any changes will be posted on the our website, Facebook, Instragram and Twitter channels. Tralee Bay Wetlands hopes that all staff, customers and members of the public stay safe during the storm and heed the advice of Met Eireann and Local Authorities.
