Celebrate World Wetlands Day 2025 with an enriching experience at Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park this January and February. Join us for a series of guided nature walks designed to showcase the breathtaking beauty and critical importance of wetlands. Part funded by Kerry County Council, these walks promise to inspire a deeper appreciation for these vital ecosystems while offering a serene escape into nature.
Transition Kerry and Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park ended the year with their final river event on Monday, 25th November at Tralee Bay Wetlands, with the support from the Local Authority Waters Programme and Kerry County Council. This autumn, these inspiring events brought our community together to explore Tralee’s rivers and discover the vibrant wildlife of rivers.
Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park are delighted to announce that they have been chosen by An Taisce as the Overall Winner of this Year’s Pollinator Plan for the second year running as well as first time winner of the Town Park Pollinator category. Tralee Bay Wetlands has also been awarded a green flag for the fifth time in a row.
