Join a 1.5hr walk with Ecologist Alan Balfe of Tralee Bay Wetlands following an ecological corridor connecting the Rose Garden in Tralee Town Park to the epicentre of ecological restoration in Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park. You will find a complex mix of habitats supporting large amounts of wildlife including our native, Wild Rose.

The Kerry Wild Bee Festival 2024 will be held on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July at Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park

This Kerry Wild Bee Festival 2024 is being organised by Transition Kerry in collaboration with Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park. We would like to acknowledge the support of Kerry County Council Community Support Fund, Eleanor Turner Biodiversity Officer, Kerry County Council, Kerry Branch Irish Wildlife Trust, Tralee Tidy Towns, Ballyduff Tidy Towns, Fenit Changing Tides, Gortbrack Organic Farm, Transition Kerry From The Ground Up Network, Biodiversity Ireland and the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.

Discover the magic of nature at Féile na mBláth 2024! Join us in the Tralee Town Park for a delightful day of creativity with Nature Artist Philip McSweeney. Engage in the art of making dragonflies and bee mobiles, dream catchers, and willow sculptures, all crafted from willow grown right here in the Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park.
